MAGISTRATES COURT ACT 1930 - SECT 7B

Magistrates other than the Chief Magistrate have seniority according to—

        (a)     the dates their appointments took effect; or

        (b)     if the appointments of 2 or more of them took effect on the same date—the precedence given to them by the instruments of their appointment.
