Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts(1) The registrar-general may, by written notice, require a person having in his or her possession, custody or control the certificate of title for a unit the lease of which has been terminated to give it, within a time specified in the notice, to the registrar-general for cancellation.
(2) A person must not, without reasonable excuse, fail to comply with a requirement under subsection (1).
Maximum penalty: 5 penalty units.
