Australian Capital Territory Consolidated ActsBefore bringing under this Act an estate in fee simple or in fee tail in any land in respect of which a certificate of title has been issued for any leasehold interest, the registrar-general shall close the folium of the register constituted by the certificate of title of the leasehold, and shall carry forward, upon the certificate of title issued in respect of the estate in fee, memorials of the leasehold interest, and of all mortgages or other interests affecting the leasehold then registered and still current, and the memorials of all future dealings with the leasehold interest, directed in this Act to be registered, shall be entered upon the folium of the register constituted by the certificate of title representing the fee.
