Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts(1) A registered contractor must keep a written record of the following:
(a) the contractor's name and date of birth;
(b) the nature of the work carried out in the contract cleaning industry by the contractor;
(c) when and for whom the cleaning work was carried out;
(d) the contractor's ordinary remuneration for each quarter.
Maximum penalty: 20 penalty units.
(2) A registered contractor must keep a written record mentioned in subsection (1) for 6 years after the day the record was made.
Maximum penalty: 20 penalty units.
(3) An offence against this section is a strict
liability offence.
