Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts(1) The chief executive must appoint a public servant to be deputy registrar for the authority.
Note 1 For the making of appointments (including acting appointments), see the Legislation Act, pt 19.3.
Note 2 In particular, an appointment may be made by naming a person or nominating the occupant of a position (see Legislation Act, s 207).
(2) If the registrar is absent or cannot for any reason exercise the functions of the registrar, the deputy registrar must act as registrar.
