LONG SERVICE LEAVE ACT 1976 - SECT 9
Public holidays not to count as leave(1) This section applies if a public holiday or an award holiday falls during a period of long service leave taken by an employee.
(2) The period of long service leave is increased by 1 day for each such holiday.
(3) In this section:
"award holiday" means a day that is, under an award or agreement, a holiday for people employed in an industry.
