LEGAL PROFESSION ACT 2006 - SECT 243
Designation and appointment of associates as external examiners(1) The law society council may designate an associate of a law practice under this subdivision only if the law society council is satisfied that it is appropriate to designate the associate.
(2) However, an associate of a law practice cannot be appointed as an external examiner under this subdivision to examine the practice's trust records.
