LEGAL PROFESSION ACT 2006 - SECT 192

    (1)     Registration as a foreign lawyer under this Act is subject to—

        (a)     any conditions imposed by the relevant council; and

        (b)     any statutory conditions imposed by this Act or any other Act; and

Note     This Act is defined in the dictionary.

        (c)     any conditions imposed or amended by the ACAT under section 194 (Imposition and amendment of conditions on local registration pending criminal proceedings); and

        (d)     any conditions imposed under chapter 4 (Complaints and discipline) or under provisions of a corresponding law that correspond to chapter 4.

    (2)     If a condition is imposed, amended or revoked under this Act (other than a statutory condition) during the currency of a person's registration as a foreign lawyer, the registration certificate must be amended by the relevant council, or a new registration certificate must be issued by the relevant council, to reflect on its face the imposition, amendment or revocation.
