Australian Capital Territory Consolidated ActsIf the tenant is required, in contravention of section 26, to use the services of a lawyer nominated by the lessor—
(a) the tenant is not liable to pay fees for the lawyer's services in relation to the lease; and
(b) the lessor is liable to pay the tenant the amount of any fee paid by the tenant to the lawyer for the services; and
(c) the lessor is liable to pay any
unpaid fee for the lawyer's services that the tenant is not liable to pay
because of paragraph (a).
