LEGISLATION ACT 2001 - SECT 92

Amendment to be made wherever possible

    (1)     If a law amends another law—

        (a)     by omitting a word; or

        (b)     by substituting a word for another word; or

        (c)     by inserting a word before or after a particular word;

the amendment is to be made wherever possible in the other law.

    (2)     This section is a determinative provision.
