LEGISLATION ACT 2001 - SECT 87

Commencement not undone if repealed

    (1)     If a provision of a law providing for the commencement of the law is repealed after the law has commenced, the repeal of the provision does not affect the continuing operation of the law.

    (2)     If a commencement notice providing for the commencement of a law is repealed after the law has commenced, the repeal of the notice does not affect the continuing operation of the law.

    (3)     This section does not limit any other provision of this chapter and is in addition to any provision of the law by which the repeal is made.

    (4)     This section is a determinative provision.
