LEGISLATION ACT 2001 - SECT 184
Change in constitution of entity(1) This section applies if a law changes how an entity established under a law is constituted.
(2) The entity continues in existence as newly constituted and its identity is not affected by the change.
(3) Without limiting subsection (2), the change does not affect—
(a) any function, right, privilege, liability or property of the entity; or
(b) the bringing of a proceeding, or the continuation of a proceeding, by or against the entity; or
(c) the carrying out of an investigation or inquiry, or the continuation of an investigation or inquiry, in relation to anything done or not done by or in relation to the entity.
