Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts(1) Power given by a law to make a decision includes power to reverse or change the decision.
(2) The power to reverse or change the decision is exercisable in the same way, and subject to the same conditions, as the power to make the decision.
Example
If the power to include land in a special reserve is exercisable only on the resolution of the Legislative Assembly, the power to excise land from a special reserve is exercisable only on the resolution of the Assembly.
Note
An example is part of the Act, is not exhaustive and may extend,
but does not limit, the meaning of the provision in which it appears
(see s 126 and s 132).
