LEGISLATION ACT 2001 - SECT 171
Client legal privilege(1) An Act or statutory instrument must be interpreted to preserve the common law privilege in relation to client legal privilege (also known as legal professional privilege).
(2) However, this section does not affect the operation of the Evidence Act 2011
