Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts(1) A person must not operate a boat on a lake while under the influence of intoxicating liquor.
Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units.
(2) An offence against this section is a strict liability offence.
(3) A person arrested for an offence under this
section shall be entitled, upon request made by him or her or on his or her
behalf, to be examined by a doctor and, where any such request is made, the
person making the arrest shall afford all reasonable facilities for the
holding of the examination.
