FISHERIES ACT 2000 - SECT 78

A person commits an offence if—

        (a)     the person possesses a noxious fish; and

        (b)     the person does not have the conservator's written approval to possess the fish.

Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units, imprisonment for 6 months or both.
