Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts(1) The Minister may, in writing, prohibit absolutely or conditionally, the taking of fish from public waters for a stated period.
(2) A prohibition under subsection (1) is a fishing closure .
(3) A prohibition under subsection (1) is a disallowable instrument.
Note A disallowable instrument must be notified, and presented to the Legislative Assembly, under the Legislation Act.
