ELECTRICITY SAFETY ACT 1971 - SECT 29

A person commits an offence if—

        (a)     the person—

              (i)     sells an article of electrical equipment; or

              (ii)     installs an article in, or connects an article to, an electrical installation; and

        (b)     the article is prohibited; and

        (c)     the person is reckless about whether the article is prohibited.

Maximum penalty: 200 penalty units.
