ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION ACT 1997 - SECT 38

The authority may—

        (a)     for section 42 (2) (a); or

        (b)     otherwise giving effect to the objects of this Act;

enter into an environmental protection agreement in relation to an activity with the person who is conducting, or proposing to conduct, the activity.
