Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts(1) For the purposes of each redistribution, an augmented electoral commission is established.
(2) An augmented commission shall consist of—
(a) the members of the electoral commission; and
(b) the members (other than the commissioner) of the redistribution committee formed for the purposes of the redistribution.
(3) The chief surveyor is not subject to direction from anyone (other than the electoral commissioner, for the efficient functioning of the augmented commission) in the exercise of the chief surveyor's functions as a member of the augmented commission.
