ELECTORAL ACT 1992 - SECT 122

    (1)     A candidate for election may appoint a scrutineer to represent the candidate during the polling for the election, or during the scrutiny for an election, or both.

    (2)     An appointment shall be made by giving to the commissioner—

        (a)     written notice, signed by the candidate, specifying the name and address of the scrutineer; and

        (b)     an undertaking signed by the scrutineer.

Note     If a form is approved under s 340A (Approved forms) for an undertaking, the form must be used.
