Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts(1) A court may disallow a question that, in the opinion of the court, is indecent or scandalous unless the question relates to a fact in issue in the proceeding or to matters necessary to be known to determine an issue of fact in the proceeding.
(2) A court may disallow a question that, in the opinion of the court, is intended only to insult or annoy or is needlessly offensive in form.
