Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts(1) If evidence with regard to the character of a person is admissible in a proceeding, a witness may, in the proceeding, give evidence of the general reputation of the person and of the witness's own knowledge of the habits, disposition and conduct of the person.
(2) A witness shall not be permitted to state that he or she would not believe another person on his or her oath.
