Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts(1) A person who is present at the hearing of a proceeding may, subject to this Act and any other Territory law, be ordered to give evidence and to produce documents notwithstanding that the person has not been duly served with a subpoena or other process requiring his or her attendance for that purpose.
(2) A person who is ordered under subsection (1) to give evidence or to produce documents is subject to the same penalties and liabilities as if the person had been duly served with a subpoena or other process requiring him or her to give evidence or produce documents.
