Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts Australian Capital Territory Consolidated ActsEvidence of an instrument that is a judgment, decree, rule, order or other judicial proceeding of a court in an overseas country (including an affidavit, pleading or other legal document filed or deposited in such a court) may be given in a proceeding by the production of—
(a) a copy that is proved to be an examined copy of the instrument; or
(b) a document that purports to be a copy of the instrument if there is endorsed on or annexed to the copy so produced a certificate by the person having custody of the original instrument that is a true copy of the instrument of which it purports to be a copy.
