Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts(1) If the keeper of a dog tells the registrar in writing that he or she is no longer the keeper of the dog, the registrar must cancel the registration of the dog.

(2) If the registered keeper of a dog is disqualified from keeping the dog, any dog, a dog of that kind or any animal, the registrar must cancel the registration of the dog.
Note Section 138A deals with the disqualification of a person from keeping an animal.
