DUTIES ACT 1999 - SECT 253

    (1)     The Executive may make regulations for this Act.

Note     Regulations must be notified, and presented to the Legislative Assembly, under the Legislation Act.

    (2)     A regulation may prescribe offences for contraventions of a regulation and prescribe maximum penalties of not more than 10 penalty units for offences against a regulation.

The Duties Amendment Act 2006 (No 2) inserted s 173A which provided for the expiry of ch 6 (Hire of goods) on 30 June 2007.
