CORRECTIONS MANAGEMENT ACT 2007 - SECT 7

The main objects of this Act are to promote public safety and the maintenance of a just society, particularly by—

        (a)     ensuring the secure detention of detainees at correctional centres; and

        (b)     ensuring justice, security and good order at correctional centres; and

        (c)     ensuring that detainees are treated in a decent, humane and just way; and

        (d)     promoting the rehabilitation of offenders and their reintegration into society.
