CORRECTIONS MANAGEMENT ACT 2007 - SECT 56

    (1)     This section applies to each of the following:

        (a)     a judge;

        (b)     a magistrate;

        (c)     a member of the Legislative Assembly.

Note     The inspector of correctional services may also enter and inspect a correctional centre (see Inspector of Correctional Services Act 2017

, s 19).

    (2)     A person mentioned in subsection (1) may, at any reasonable time, enter and inspect—

        (a)     a correctional centre; or

        (b)     a place outside a correctional centre where a detainee is, or has been, directed to work or participate in an activity.
