CORRECTIONS MANAGEMENT ACT 2007 - SECT 14

    (1)     The director-general may make corrections policies and operating procedures, consistent with this Act, to facilitate the effective and efficient management of correctional services.

    (2)     Each corrections policy or operating procedure is a notifiable instrument.

Note 1     A notifiable instrument must be notified under the Legislation Act

Note 2     The amendment or repeal of a corrections policy or operating procedure is also a notifiable instrument. See the Legislation Act

, section 46 (Power to make instrument includes power to amend or repeal).

    (3)     Each corrections policy or operating procedure—

        (a)     must be available for inspection by anyone at each correctional centre; and

        (b)     may be made available for inspection at any other place decided by the director-general.
