CLASSIFICATION (PUBLICATIONS, FILMS AND COMPUTER GAMES) (ENFORCEMENT) ACT 1995 - SECT 18

    (1)     A person commits an offence if—

        (a)     the person sells a film at any premises; and

        (b)     the person does not display a notice—

              (i)     in the approved form about classifications for films; and

              (ii)     in the premises so that the notice is clearly visible to the public.

Maximum penalty: 5 penalty units.

Note     The notice is approved by the director of the board (see dict, def  approved form ).

    (2)     An offence against this section is a strict liability offence.
