CLIMATE CHANGE AND GREENHOUSE GAS REDUCTION ACT 2010 - SECT 13
Statement by Minister if targets not met(1) This section applies if a target mentioned in this part for a financial year is not met.
(2) The Minister must, within 6 sitting days after receiving a report from an independent entity under section 12 for the financial year, present a statement to the Legislative Assembly setting out—
(a) why the target was not met; and
(b) what action will be taken to meet any subsequent
target, including how the action will differ from any action that was taken
for the target that was not met.
