Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts(1) If the casino licence is suspended or cancelled, the Minister may appoint an administrator for the casino if satisfied that it is in the public interest to make the appointment.

Note 2 In particular, an appointment may be made by naming a person or nominating the occupant of a position (see s 207).
Note 3 Certain Ministerial appointments require consultation with an Assembly committee and are disallowable (see Legislation Act, div 19.3.3).
(2) In appointing a person to be an administrator, the Minister must consider any recommendations made by the commission about the suitability of the person.
(3) The appointment of an administrator ends if the casino licence is transferred under section 30.
