CRIMINAL CODE 2002 - SECT 326
Obtaining property by deceptionA person commits an offence ( obtaining property by deception ) if the person, by deception, dishonestly obtains property belonging to someone else with the intention of permanently depriving the other person of the property.
Maximum penalty: 1 000 penalty units, imprisonment for 10 years or both.
