CRIMINAL CODE 2002 - SECT 308

A person commits an offence ( theft ) if the person dishonestly appropriates property belonging to someone else with the intention of permanently depriving the other person of the property.

Maximum penalty: 1 000 penalty units, imprisonment for 10 years or both.
