CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE ACT 2008 - SECT 884
Chief police officer delegations(1) The chief police officer may delegate any of the chief police officer's functions under this Act to a police officer.
(2) This section does not limit the chief police officer's power to delegate a function under any other territory law.
