CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE ACT 2008 - SECT 74

The objects of a family group conference about a child or young person are to—

        (a)     encourage the child or young person and their family members, to take part in decisions affecting the child or young person; and

        (b)     increase the support for the child or young person by their family members and significant people; and

        (c)     make arrangements for the care of the child or young person to reduce the likelihood of the child or young person being in need of care and protection in the future.
