CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE ACT 2008 - SECT 712
Procedures at hearings to be informal(1) A proceeding under the care and protection chapters must be carried out as informally and quickly as—
(a) the requirements of this or any other Act allows; and
(b) a proper consideration of the matter allows.
(2) This section does not apply if another provision of this Act provides otherwise.
