CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE ACT 2008 - SECT 659
Transfer of ACT proceedings—criteria(1) The Childrens Court may, on application by the director-general, make an order transferring a child welfare proceeding pending in the court to the State Childrens Court of a participating State if the relevant interstate officer has agreed to the transfer.
(2) The proceeding is discontinued in the Childrens Court when the order mentioned in subsection (1) is registered in the State Childrens Court of the participating State under the interstate law.
