CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE ACT 2008 - SECT 192
Possession of prohibited things(1) A young detainee commits an offence if the young detainee possesses a prohibited thing.
Maximum penalty: 5 penalty units.
(2) Subsection (1) does not apply if the director-general approves the young detainee's possession of the thing.
