CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE ACT 2008 - SECT 162
Alcohol and drug tests on admission(1) For an assessment under section 160, the director-general may direct the young detainee, orally or in writing, to provide a test sample.
(2) Division 6.7.2 (Alcohol and drug testing—detainees) applies in relation to the direction and any sample given under the direction.
