CEMETERIES AND CREMATORIA ACT 2003 - SECT 18

Penalty for failing to end contravention

    (1)     The operator of a cemetery or crematorium commits an offence if the operator fails to end a contravention of this Act in accordance with an improvement notice.

Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units.

    (2)     An offence against this section is a strict liability offence.
