CRIMES ACT 1900 - SECT 257
Offence of hindering execution of search warrantA person who, without lawful excuse, hinders a police officer, or a person assisting him or her, in the execution of a search warrant shall be guilty of an offence punishable, on conviction, by imprisonment for a period not exceeding 6 months, a fine not exceeding $2 000 or both.
