BIRTHS, DEATHS AND MARRIAGES REGISTRATION ACT 1997 - SECT 4

In this Act:

"adult" means a person who—

        (a)     is at least 18 years old; or

        (b)     is under 18 years old, but is or has been married.

"child" means a person other than an adult, and includes a stillborn child.
