BIRTHS, DEATHS AND MARRIAGES REGISTRATION ACT 1997 - SECT 32

The registrar-general must register a marriage by—

        (a)     including the marriage certificate as part of the register; or

        (b)     including in the register the particulars of the marriage that are prescribed.
