BUILDING ACT 2004 - SECT 136A
Regulation under s 136 (1), def building code and Legislation Act, s 47(1) This section applies in relation to a regulation made under section 136 (1), definition of "building code", paragraph (b).
(2) A regulation may apply, adopt or incorporate a law of another jurisdiction or instrument as in force from time to time.
(3) The Legislation Act
, section 47 (5) or (6) does not apply in relation to the law of another jurisdiction or instrument applied, adopted or incorporated under a regulation.
Note Laws of another jurisdiction and instruments mentioned in s (3) do not need to be notified under the Legislation Act
because s 47 (5) and (6) do not apply (see Legislation Act
, s 47 (7)).
