ANIMAL WELFARE ACT 1992 - SECT 24D
Failure to comply with direction to comply with mandatory code(1) A person commits an offence if—
(a) an inspector or authorised officer gives the person a direction under section 24C; and
(b) the person fails to comply with the direction.
Maximum penalty: 20 penalty units.
(2) An offence
against this section is a strict liability offence.
