Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts Australian Capital Territory Consolidated Acts (1) If it appears to the registrar-general that an
association has been incorporated under a name or a name of a kind referred to
in section 37 (5) without the consent of the Minister, the
registrar-general may, by notice in writing to the association, direct the
association to change its name.
(2) A direction to an association under subsection (1) has effect as if it were a special resolution of the association passed under section 38 (1).
