ANIMAL DISEASES ACT 2005 - SECT 7

Appointment of chief veterinary officer

    (1)     The director-general may appoint a public servant as the Chief Veterinary Officer.

    (2)     However, the director-general must not appoint a person as chief veterinary officer unless the person is a veterinary surgeon.
