AGENTS ACT 2003 - SECT 21

Travel agents must be licensed

    (1)     A person commits an offence if—

        (a)     the person is not a licensed travel agent; and

        (b)     the person—

              (i)     carries on business as a travel agent; or

              (ii)     pretends to be a licensed travel agent.

Maximum penalty: 100 penalty units, imprisonment for 1 year or both.

    (2)     An offence against this section is a strict liability offence.
